About the ITRC
What We Do
The Instructional Technology Resource Centre (ITRC) supports faculty who wish to integrate technology into their courses.
- We create digital learning resources
- We help instructors prepare online content for OWL
- We provide information on many of the instructional technology tools listed in the eLearning Toolkit
Who We Work With
The ITRC operates within the Client Support area of WTS and works co-operatively to address the need for support for instructional technology with:
Our Resources
The ITRC employs student multimedia designers who work directly with faculty on specific projects to create online or multimedia instructional material.
We are equipped with current hardware and software to be used for the design of technology-enhanced instructional materials.
Getting Involved
The ITRC encourages faculty members to make an appointment to explore how technology can be used in an instructional setting and design their own instructional components.
Instructors can complete the Project Request Form to submit a project to the ITRC. The project will be reviewed and, if the project is accepted, ITRC team members will provide the technical expertise required to create online learning materials.
